Hi guys, Doing a bit of research here and there. For those of you who have gone to those neighborhood or Sim Lim repair service centers, how much were the repair fees usually and severity of the issue? Excluding hardware

DIY is not for everyone Had a friend who DIYed a windows update and ended up reinstalling windows Happened 2 days before Iras Deadline Accounts stuff all in his computer So a simply DIY cost him $xxxx with lots of nagging and sleepless nights Each person specialises in something Sometimes, it is worth more to pay someone to do the work than to do it yourself. Otherwise, all of us can DIY reno our house ( Drilling holes in Kitchen Ceramic Tiles is a PITA... ) while we balance our day job as well.

That's why we need a supply of workers whose time are worth less. That's why in first world countries it's usually students in McDonald's and mowing lawns part time. And that's why we need a society where even students have the capability to do these things. Singapore has failed and now rely on imported labor which has negative societal impact as we can see. harky wrote: If the stuff is important. Give other ppl do safe meh? Looking at the standard repairman, no.
