4tb hdd... is it safe?? -

I had 2 4tb hdd suddenly files disappear and n the drives sometimes can see sometime cannot see. is it hdd fail or what? I bought the drives last year and did not really use yet . Now i need to backup my stuffs (cos my backups in the 2 4tb cant use anymore and i cant trust them liao) Shall i buy 4tb again or just buy 2 * 2tb? My 2tbs wre working fine. the 2 4tb drives are WD and seagate. im going to get new drive definately, just dont know what to get. any advise? (lost touch in such things ever since enter uni)

seems like failing already, since its only one year, can go rma go for HGST 4tb, one of the best drive right now in the market

HDD are just like that nowadays. That reminds me, time to get a 4TB from black friday to mirror my current 4TB.
