Also, many devices like Apple and even some Samsung devices are quite picky. They may not charge at all with "normal" 2.0A ports; that's when you will need the smart USB ports.

So far no probs But can the cheena brand operates at rated current? I rather trust a well known AMDK brand with proven ratings than a cheena brand that has questionable workmanship. Just look at their cables... And AMDK brand also not any much more expensive than cheena one.
