Hi all, I'm looking to build a pc and buy a 1060 or 1070 ti card for my setup. Is it advisable to wait for the newer series to come out or buy the card now?
Wait for gtx 11 series or buy now?
At this point I'd wait - even if you just want a 1070, wait for the upgrader fire sales

Same dilemma over here. The 7.7 deal seems good but it's still above msrp so I would rather sit out.
If can wait, wait lor. If can't wait, den buy now

If you don't need it, no need to rush into buying. With the GTX 11xx series in tow and to be released sooner or later, you may see more downward pressure on second hand market prices on the older GTX 10xx. Personally, it is best to wait and see at this point.
Its really depend, you wont get asus
If your new build is using 1080p monitor current generation of gtx 1060 will last you for 60hz or gtx 1080 for 144hz 1080p. if your new build is using 1440p monitor 60hz, can go for gtx 1080 now too but if your new build is using 1440p monitor 144-165hz I suggest you wait for gtx 1180 should get you 165hz for most games.
that's what many think about those who bought 980ti
