Since your graphic card is dead, just get a new graphic card. Even a GTX 1050 will be able to handle YouTube easily. If you go lower end, there is GT 1030.The processor you are using should easily handle most applications that you throw at it even now.

Just upgrade your graphics card to 'mid tier' level then, since that you mentioned kaput already..

As shared, sometimes when I speed video up to 2x, there is this audio lag which will pause the video, then after that continue again. Not very sure how to explain, but not sure if it's due to no GFX also..

Getting a graphic card most probably will not have an effect on youtube Eg: The latest Integrated graphic card in the budget Apollo lake Nucs are capable of decoding and playing back 4K video and HEVC H265 The lag you are mentioning is actually known as buffering. Streaming will load a bit of video into memory first, and while you are playing back the stream, it is continuously loading video. Speed it up and it needs to load in video faster. This will then depend on 1. Internet speed 2. Content Delivery Network Upload Restriction The faster BOTH are, the faster the clip can be streamed to you. If one is fast but the other is slow, it will be at the mercy of the slowest pipe. Eg: if you have a 1gbps fibre but the CDN restricts you to 10MB
